Omakase
The Ultimate Sensory Dining Experience
Ta.Ke.En Omakase is the new extension from Xenri which specialises in “Kappo Omakase”. “Kappo” which means “To Cut, To Cook” in Japanese, it emphasises more on the chef’s personal cutlery skills. Omakase is short for ‘omakaseshimasu”, which means ‘I trust you’ in Japanese. It is a revered Japanese dining tradition, where diners entrust the entire meal unto the chef on duty – from the choice of meats and sauces, to other ingredients. The chef is in charge of preparing and serving the appetiser, sashimi, main course, and dessert that he believes will best suit the preference of his customer.
